All-School Event

Join Westchester in celebrating school spirit, community and athletics at Blue-White Day on Friday, Oct. 13.

One of our favorite times of the year is here. Blue-White Day is an annual celebration of school spirit for all ages. The day includes everyone wearing blue and white, an afternoon fall festival hosted by WAPA, multiple home athletic events throughout the evening, a Booster Club cookout, and other festivities.

Volunteers Needed

This event takes many parent, faculty and staff volunteers to be a great success. Thank you to WAPA for helping coordinate the festivities!

Lower School Dismissal on Blue-White Day

If you plan to pick up your child at 1:30 dismissal and enjoy the fall festival, please park and then meet your child near the playground, where students will be with their teachers divided by grade. Pre-K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades will be lined up by grade along the playground bumpers. Kindergarten will be at the kindergarten suite door on the end of Smith Hall, and fifth grade will be in the brick courtyard between Smith and Phillips Hall.

If you plan for your child to attend the After-School program, Ms. Elliott and the After-School staff will have After-School students on the playground from 1:30-2:30 p.m. and then will take the students around to the fall festival activities from 2:30-3:30 p.m.

Please notify your child’s teacher now of your Blue-White Day dismissal plans, including if someone other than a parent is picking them up (grandparent, friend, babysitter, etc.). If we do not hear from you, your child will be sent home via your normal afternoon transportation plan.
