All-School Event Art

Families and friends are invited to enjoy outdoor music concerts and art exhibits featuring students in grades pre-K through 12 at Westchester Country Day School's ArtsFest.

The event will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2023, throughout the campus at 2045 N. Old Greensboro Road, High Point.

ArtsFest showcases the students' talents and the school's emphasis on artistic excellence. Each Lower School student will be part of a musical performance and will have a piece of artwork on display. All Middle and Upper School students enrolled in an art or music class will also have art on display or will be performing. There will be various food vendors from the community, and art booths will be set up with activities. Attendees are invited to bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket to enjoy the evening.

Artistic excellence is an important part of the Westchester school mission and student experience.

"Performing is a significant part of musical development, as well as building other life skills," said Amy Hughes, early childhood music teacher. "It encourages confidence, enhances self-expression, reinforces a growth mindset, assists in overcoming fears and anxieties, and more. We invite and encourage you to take advantage of this rich opportunity!"
