Determination Is the Character World for May
Westchester Country Day School’s character word for the month of May is DETERMINATION -- deciding it is worth it to finish what you start. The character word is emphasized by the color brown plum and the animal house squirrel.
Students will be learning what it means to have DETERMINATION during Community Meetings and classroom guidance lessons throughout the month. Westchester follows the Core Essential Values character education program, which helps teach students to treat others right, make smart decisions, and maximize their potential through a focus on a monthly character trait.
