Character Word for November Is Gratitude
Westchester Country Day School's character word for the month of November is GRATITUDE -- letting others know you see how they've helped you. The character word is emphasized by the color Yellow and the animal Skink.
Students will be learning what it means to have GRATITUDE during Community Meetings and classroom guidance lessons throughout the month. Westchester follows the Core Essential Values character education program, which helps teach students to treat others right, make smart decisions, and maximize their potential through a focus on a monthly character trait.
