Students Selected for Student Government Leadership

Student Government gives students the opportunity to develop leadership skills as they lead by example.

The students listed below were elected to Student Government for the 2021-2022 school year.

Middle School Student Government

Middle School Student Government members are advocates for their peers voicing questions and concerns, as well as problem solvers. They often focus on ways to improve student life, such as making scheduling suggestions, providing cafeteria feedback and creating new programs that interest students. They plan and implement social opportunities too, such as Halloween and end-of-year parties, as well as exam breaks and treats.

Upper School Student Government

The Upper School Student Government Association consists of four elected officers plus at least two representatives from grades 9-12. The purpose of the organization is to strengthen the relationship among the students, faculty and administration and to encourage student involvement in school activities. It also promotes honor, integrity and a spirit of loyalty to the school. This student leadership organization serves a number of important roles, including recommending policy changes to the administration, planning campus events, and promoting active involvement at Westchester.
