Production All-School Event

Westchester Country Day School will present "Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr." for this year's fall K-12 musical production. The show will be performed Nov. 5-7 in Rives Hall. Ticket information will be announced closer to the show dates.

In a magical kingdom fathoms below, the beautiful young mermaid Ariel longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. But first, she'll have to defy her father King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula, and convince Prince Eric that she’s the girl with the enchanting voice.

Students in grades K-12 are encouraged to participate in this production. Students in lower grades will rehearse during the last few weeks of September and then be video recorded for the show. Middle and Upper School students will be cast for the live performance and rehearse at least three times a week. All singing will be recorded prior to the live show.

An audition form must be filled out for all students interested in participating. Students in grades 6-12 also need to record and submit an audition piece by Friday, September 10. Students may sing a song from the show and then explain the reason for auditioning, including any part that is of interest.

More information about auditions is posted on the WCDS portals.
