Cast Named for Spring Musical Production
Westchester Country Day School will present the musical production "Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka Jr." on stage this spring.
The show will be performed for a limited audience with physical distancing on Friday, May 21, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, May 23, at 3 p.m. Online streaming will also be available.
The delicious adventures of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory light up the stage in this captivating adaptation of Roald Dahl's fantastical tale. Featuring the enchanting songs from the 1971 film, in addition to a host of fun new songs, "Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka Jr." is a scrumdiddlyumptious musical guaranteed to delight everyone's sweet tooth.
"'Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka Jr.' provides an avenue to allow a core group of students to perform on stage in masks while being supported by a larger group of students performing at home. Streaming capabilities will allow us to share a final performance for all to see," said Ms. Debby Noyes, who is directing the show.
