Westchester Country Day School senior Chase Hesling was selected as this year's DAR Good Citizen.

Every year, the Alexander Martin Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution sponsors the DAR Good Citizens program in High Point. The program recognizes students from area schools who exemplify the characteristics of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism. The recipients of the award also demonstrate strength in academics.

The Upper School faculty nominated seniors for the award, and the senior class voted on the nominees. 

Hesling was honored at a DAR luncheon in November, along with the winners from other area schools.
