Distance Learning

Distance Learning

For the time being, Westchester is continuing the school year via distance learning in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our leadership team is monitoring and assessing the situation daily in consultation with state and national resources, our accrediting organizations, and independent school peers. We hold onto the hope of returning to campus as soon as possible, but the decision to do so will be in following the direction of local and state authorities and what is in the best interest of our students' health and safety.

Your teachers and staff members at Westchester remain committed to supporting students and delivering the very best instruction possible. In fact, this remains an important part of our mission, even in the face of a global crisis. We prepare students for rapid changes in our world and inspire them to continue learning throughout their lives. It's what we are all doing together as we navigate the new distance learning format.

By respecting the student and honoring learning, Westchester aims to cultivate informed citizens who are ready for a rapidly changing world and to graduate students who view the pursuit and wise use of knowledge as a lifelong joy.
