Elementary School Tutor

Westchester Country Day School, a PreK-12 college preparatory school located in High Point, NC, seeks a qualified individual for one-on-one tutoring services in elementary grades for the 2018-2019 school year. This school seeks to educate each child toward moral, academic, artistic, and athletic excellence in a nurturing, family environment where students, teachers, and parents support one another. By respecting the student and honoring learning, Westchester aims to cultivate informed citizens who are ready for a rapidly changing world and to graduate students who view the pursuit and wise use of knowledge as a lifelong joy. Tutoring services are scheduled on an hourly basis during the school day. Tutors are expected to plan lessons according to students’ needs and goals. Skills in producing an environment that strengthens student productivity and learning is desired. Experience working with students with unique learning needs is preferred.
