Beat the Heat Soccer Camp 1 - Monday - Thursday

2018 is a World Cup year, and the greatest US Soccer players may not be in Russia this summer, but we hope they all show up to Westchester! Wildcat soccer has never been stronger, and there isn't a more beautiful setting to play soccer with your best friends than Kennedy Field "Under the Lights!" One of the most popular camps of the summer, Beat the Heat Soccer Camp will certainly fill up early this year! This unique camp will be played "Under the Lights," and Coach Schwartz and his staff of current players and alums will be ready to show all the up-and-coming soccer stars what "Strength and Honor" really means. Campers who sign up for both soccer camps will receive a free, colored Select soccer ball! This camp is open to boys and girls with all skill levels who are excited to have fun, play under the lights, and learn from some of the best players from Westchester's 50 year history!

Camp Creation 1

Camp Creation is a wonderful opportunity for children to explore their artistic side in a safe and fun-filled environment.  We will study a different master artist each day while also learning about art terms such as medium, texture, and perspective. Children will be given the opportunity to use their imaginations while studying the techniques used by such artists as Andy Warhol, Georgia O'Keffee, Hokasai, and Kandinsky.  We will also create a Jackson Pollock masterpiece by throwing paint onto a canvas and playing "Twister" with other campers and globs of paint!  Prepare to have fun, get messy and have a great time!

CoEd Basketball

If you've never played basketball, or you play everyday, this is the camp for you.The important thing is to get started while you're young so that you don't miss a day of the fun basketball can be. This is the place for all young players to receive great individual instruction from a proven winner. Experience a week of camp which has as it's mission to teach fundamentals of basketball through team competition, group instruction and individual attention. "When our students leave camp, they feel good about what they have accomplished, want to keep improving, and feel good about themselves," says the coach. Coach Carrier and his staff are active, enthusiastic, participating kinds of teachers. Working with young players, they make having fun the number one objective! Coach David Carrier has been coaching and directing camps for over 20 years. He coached back to back State championship basketball teams in 1998 and 1999 at Providence Day School in Charlotte and was named 2007 and 2013 Area coach of the year, 2013 E.P.I.C. coach of the year, and 2014 head coach of the N.C.I.S.A.A. all star game.

Mad Science - Super Duper Science Sampler

Create, laugh, imagine, dream. If your daughter loves American Girl dolls or any other doll, she will love this camp loaded with fun-filled activities for her and her doll. Participants will bring their favorite doll and enjoy a time that is perfect for doll-loving girls! We will learn different hairstyles for the dolls, as well as make clothes, accessories, and jewelry to adorn them. Everyone will bring home numerous handmade items for their dolls. There will be time for tea parties, games, and much more.

SAT Prep

This is it! High school college admissions offices are watching carefully. It’s time to do really well in school – in your classes, in your clubs and extra-curricular activities, service organizations, in sports, and…on the DREADED SAT. I am offering a comprehensive course in SAT prep so that you can do very well on this integral component of college admissions. Details of the course are as follows:
» 5 sessions focusing on all aspects of the SAT
» each session lasting @ 3 hours, including a break with a snack
» mandatory homework will be required and due for each class (uggh!!!! – I know this is not pleasant, but a necessity for success)
» one (1) complete practice test (including the essay) will be featured as part of the curriculum (One goal is for all students to have taken at least one practice test so that on the actual test day they will be calm, cool, collected and comfortable because they know exactly what is coming and exactly what to expect…they will be READY!)
» students will receive detailed review and assessment of performance on practice test
» students will gain mastery of test-taking strategies through comprehensive drills and practice exercises covering all aspects of the SAT
» each student will receive a comprehensive booklet entitled: Cardinal Rules of the SAT highlighting test-taking strategies for each section of the SAT in a nutshell

Participants must pack a lunch every day.

It will be “sew” much fun! If you have a sewing machine, feel free to bring it along!
