HIGH POINT, N.C., August 27, 2007 -- Over 400 members of the Westchester School family, including current students and families as well as Alumni from all decades gathered to kickoff the celebration of the school's 40th anniversary. While enjoying a picnic supper and other activities, the guests cheered the Alumni and the Varsity Soccer players on the field as the continued their tradition of an Annual competition to begin the Varsity soccer season. Over 25 Alumni soccer players from all decades of the school's history, including Kim Setliff `72, a member of Westchester's first soccer team joined forces to challenge the current Varsity players. This year, for the first time, the Varsity players succeeded in overcoming a talented Alumni squad with a final score of 3-2.
